When you’re not hauling your camper, just remove the tie-down arms and the brackets will be barely visible beneath your truck. Each arm includes two pin holes so you can extend it for the best reach to your camper’s anchors and clear any sidewalls or fenders. Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at TorkLift custom frame-mounted rear camper tie-downs. These tie-downs provide attachment points at the rear of your truck bed for securing a bed-mounted camper. These are custom fit tie-downs and they are designed to fit the 2019 and newer Ram 2500 with either a 6 1/2 foot bed or an 8 foot bed crew cab with board or step extending under bed and with a factory-installed hitch, or with board or step underneath cab and with a factory-installed hitch or without board or step and with a factory-installed hitch. So on a custom fit part like these tie-downs, I do recommend using the fit guide on our website and enter the year, make and model of your vehicle. And our fit guide will let you know if these tie-downs will work for your vehicle. The frame-mounted design ensures excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base, instead of its bed, better distributes weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy.
These brackets fit tight to the truck frame, so there will be no loss of ground clearance. And these are steel construction with a black powder coat to resist rust and corrosion and these inserts can be easily removed. They do come with these bail pins so they're very easy to detach and remove. And so once you remove these inserts, let me bring this back into frame here, your tie-downs are going to be virtually undetectable when they are not in use. These inserts do have two different holes that the pins go through, so if your camper is a little bit wider you would use this first hole on the insert to have that tie-down point stick out a little bit farther, and if your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into this hole and then secure it with the bail pins as I will do here.
And I'm gonna bring that in all the way so it'll fit on my table and then I'm going to come alongside here, make sure I've got the holes lined up. And again, it's very easy to secure that pin. So this is going to give you a secure connection point for your turnbuckles. Now you are going to get two rear tie-down inserts, frame brackets, and the necessary hardware that you see here, with the instructions. And you also get two stickers to put on the ends of those inserts.

Not a good experience so far. Torklift product was defective and they sent the wrong size bolt fish wires. Took 3x as long to install as should have due to wrong size fish wires. Torklift is not very responsive on the solution to the defective part. Torklift did not drill one of the holes in the tie downs
We had a hiccup with my order and it was lost in cyberspace for a day until I called and was able to get it going. Unfortunately, I needed them by Saturday and I ordered them Wednesday. They didn't ship until Thursday afternoon and didn't arrive until Monday. The seller of the camper was kind enough to hold the camper for me, but it was touch and go there for a while.
Installing them was a challenging because the pictures in the guide were difficult to see which slowed the installation down a little. It took 2 of us about 3 hours to install them. Now that they are on the truck with the camper they seem to be working great! The only problem remaining is the front tie downs use a bolt to hold the tie down to the frame and it obstructs the passage, so it will only advance as far as the first pin making the second hole unreachable (it sticks out from the truck a few extra inches and makes the extension wobble up and down until the turnbuckle was installed).
great fit, works great, strong parts, works perfect! etrailer was excellent in making sure I received the correct parts. I highly recommend etrailer, if in doubt, call them, don't try and wing it, they will set you up with the correct parts! I will use etrailer again!
This kit is a solid support system, very beefy. The tie down points on your camper will get ripped out before this would fail.
These things are heavy duty. Straightforward installation, just follow the instructions and videos. Fit like a glove and are rock solid. Thanks etrailer for fast shipping and Torklift for great products.

Absolutely the only way to correctly attach your truck camper. Pair these white Fastguns and it’s a great combo. I just went on a 5000 mile trip with my TC and never moved an inch.

I did a lot of research to find the right kind of frame mounts for my dads truck. Lots of local RV places didn't even know what I was looking for, or quoted me for the wrong parts. After I was certain I found the right tie downs, I contacted etrailer customer service chat representative and they were a great help at confirming the parts I found would in fact fit my dads truck. My husband and dad installed them in less than 2 hours. The parts came quickly and in excellent packaging/condition.

I ordered this kit for my 2018 Ford F150 'Heavy Half' regular cab, long bed pickup. The tie downs came with all the necessary hardware, good instructions, were easy to install with basic tools, and required no drilling. Shipping was very fast. I would absolutely recommend TorkLift tie downs and etrailer.com.
They seem stout and were easy enough to install. I added my own 2” square rubber caps to the ends to keep road debris out when they’re not in use, those should be included. For $850 the packaging could use some work. They arrived all banged up, the “high impact powder coat” is worn off in several areas leaving bare steel exposed.
This is the only way the tie downs fit is this a safe way to strap it down
After selling previous truck camper and getting a new truck these tie downs are outstanding. The direct fit for year make model is awesome. Takes the guess work out installation. The install instructions were really good as well as etrailers videos. etrailer is the great providing product install walk thru. The adjustability of these tie downs made my life easier when I picked up my new TLRV 8 foot truck camper.
